Our Wines
Grey Fox Vineyards is proud to offer four main estate grown varietals: Sangiovese, Syrah, Barbera, and Zinfandel - very suitable to our warm climate. Smaller plantings of Grenache, Mouvedre, Dolcetto, Muscat and Viognier finish out the vineyard and allow for some creative blending. The Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet grapes come from the Mendocino area,which has the cooler conditions necessary to give Grey Fox the premium grapes needed to create these outstanding wines.
Grey Fox is well known for its outstanding red wines. Our master winemakers craft each wine in the old-world tradition. We had so many requests for a white or off dry wine that we just had to listen. These delightful wines were created just for you. Grey Fox introduced its first Port-style wine in 2002. It was one of the favorites at wine tasting events and ranks high in our daily sales. This style of wine is higher in alcohol than other wines so it stays fresh much longer.
